Scott Dallas
FIS Head Coach
Hometown: Glasgow, Scotland
grew up in Glasgow where sport was everything. Introduced to skiing by his grandad, he first hit the slopes at Glasgow Ski Centre at just four and a half years old. Despite reportedly crying through his very first lesson, he quickly fell in love with the sport. Football became his main focus and he progressed to a high level, spending time in the youth squads and reserves at Celtic, Livingston and St. Mirren, before injury unfortunately cut things short. That experience, combined with youth coaching at St. Mirren, fuelled a deep passion for developing athletes both on and off the slopes. Scott is all about creating a positive environment where young athletes can build confidence, enjoy sport, and realise just how far they can push themselves.
Jo Morrison "Jo Mo"
U14/U16 Coach
Hometown: Aberdeen, Scotland
He started skiing with local Scottish club Gordon skiers and won the Bairns Bucket a record 3 times in a row! Unsurprisingly he progressed onto the British Children's Team, followed by the FIS British Ski Team. His claim to fame is forerunning a NorAm finishing only 2 seconds off Marcel Hirscher (if only he raced it!). Jo then took to instructing and coaching at the Warren Smith Academy in Verbier, before joining Excel in 2021. Jo is also passionate enthusiast of saunas and cold plunges!
Michael Mcintosh
U10/U12 Coach
Hometown: Aberdeen
Mike began skiing aged just 3 years old and began racing at 8 on Alford dry ski slope with the Gordon Skiers. He spent 5 seasons training and racing in the Alps. His hard work shortly brought him success as a member of the Scottish Ski Team, and represented the GB Children's Ski Team in Andorra at the Trofeu Borrufa. Coincidently his coach in Andorra was none other than Rob Bullen! His claim to fame is being the youngest person ever to have completed BASI L1 at only 14 years old. His passion for ski coaching also extends into the gym, where he is a L2 Gym Instructor and L3 Personal Trainer. In the summer months he doesn't mind a bat around the golf course!
