Coach Profiles

Rob Bullen
Rob BullenHead Coach - Children
Rob spent seven years as a full-time ski racer starting as a ‘back of the pack’ novice. He worked his way onto the ‘Home Nations Programmes’, through to the British Development Team and finally onto the GBR Senior Team. In 2013, he hung up his race boots and since then works full time in the industry. Previous positions include an FIS coach, Academy Children’s Head Coach at Ambition and BCST coach. He is still involved in the selection process of the BCST.

“I believe that no matter how talented or how much potential an athlete at U14/16 or U18 level has, they are still, first and foremost children or young adults and that must never be forgotten.”

Brad Morgan
Brad MorganHead Coach - FIS
Brad’s ski racing background started on the dry slope of Pendle, Lancashire at the age of 14. He progressed onto snow and gained experience in all Alpine disciplines, competing with home nation development teams and then onto the GBR senior team. In 2012, he channelled his knowledge as an athlete into professional road cycling where he competed in races including The Tour of Britain and Le Tour De Yorkshire. Since then, he has returned to Ski Racing as a full-time head coach with U14/16 and FIS programs, and is involved with the BCST at international races.

“I believe that hard work and really loving what you do trumps talent day in, day out. I really want to help and facilitate young athletes to grow using their own experiences in sport, which will help them in all walks of life.”

Favourite skis are between the Atomic slalom ski and my monoboard.

I learned to ski when I was 8, I got a week block of lesson for Christmas at Glasgow ski centre.
I love the mountains it’s where I feel at home. I’m all about passing on my love for the sport, making people passionate to ski and seeing the joy people get from bombing around on wooden planks.
I love to stay active mainly with football and tennis, but you name a sport I’ll take you on anytime !
